Photo sharing guides
How to organise guest photos after the day
Send one more reminder on the same guest link, look through what arrived, download the originals while the album is still available, and keep a copy somewhere you control.
GuestFlick · Updated
Before you start
- The same guest link you shared before the day.
- Time to look through photos and hide anything that should not stay.
- A place you control for the downloaded originals.
- The date guests can add photos until, and the date your album closes, from your album page.
Send one short reminder
Use the same guest link. Thank people and ask them to add photos before your upload window closes. One message is enough. Leave the management and slideshow links out of it.
Look through what arrived
Open the album and check new photos and messages. Hide or remove anything that should not stay. Hiding and removing are free on every plan. Ask people in a photo before you share it more widely.
Download the originals
Download everything while the album is still available. The original files come as a zip, free on every plan; a large album may arrive as more than one zip. Do it soon after the day rather than waiting for our email before the album closes.
Keep a copy you control
Save the download somewhere you control and can find again. An online album is not a permanent archive on its own. To keep the album up longer, see what you can add on the album’s Billing page before it closes.
Keep in mind
- Each plan says how long guests can add photos and how long the album stays up. Those two dates are the ones to plan around.
- Removing a photo from the album does not remove copies already downloaded.
- Your album closes on the date shown on your album page. Add time before then if you need it.
